Here we will post photos and details of our trip. Rough itinerary is Broken Hill, Bourke, Lightning Ridge, Longreach, Tennant Creek, Alice Springs, Kings Canyon and Uluru, then home via Port Augusta. Mobile coverage when possible. Operation from the car Amateur Radio rig an IC706MkIIG. Repeaters when available otherwise the Travellers Net on 14.116, also 7073 at 2230 UTC each morning.

Info on the Travellers Net to be found here. Thanks to the dedicated Radio Amateurs who monitor the frequencies daily.

Posts will also be added to WikiCamps from time to time. Highly recommend use of the app WikiCamps for up to date information.

We plan to set off on Sunday July 27th and head towards Broken Hill, but may overnight at Cockburn.

Also here you will find a few words about us and stories of the modifications to the caravan.

Since the photo was taken we have added a Darche 2m by 2.5m awning to the passengers side of the car.
